Hello, I hope you had a fantastic weekend, and are ready to start a brand new week!

Despite having a rough start, last week ended on a good note. After being made aware that the receptionist in the medical practice that I visit was overstepping her duties and scheduling me for unnecessary office visits, the nursing staff and I agreed that I did not need an office visit if my thyroid labs come back normal.

We also discovered that the receptionist did not enter a psych referral that my N.P. ordered almost a year ago to help treat my PTSD. This oversight was rectified, and an appointment with a psychologist has been scheduled. The money that would normally be paid for unnecessary office visits with my N.P. can go toward counselling sessions. This turn of events made me realize that patience is not always a virtue and that filing a rational, formal complaint will yield the best results.

I have had problems sleeping lately, and the resulting text messages that I exchanged with Twitter are quite funny. I also received the Semicolon Butterfly Necklace that I designed for my Zazzle store in the mail.

Semicolon Butterfly Necklace, OnMyKindle Zazzle Store.

I am very pleased with the resulting product as it matches the picture shown in my Zazzle store.

Read, Pending Review

I managed to get all of the books that were on my TBR list read last week, and have added them to my "Read, Pending Review" list:

Super Sporty 5: The Secret of the Chargust Charm by Ellie Firestone. Read, Pending Review    Fangs for the Memories: A Providence Paranormal College Romance by D.R. Perry. Read, Pending Review

To be Reviewed

Since tomorrow is June 21st, I finally get to share my review of Titanborn by Rhett C. Bruno with you. I also have a book written by an author who is new to On My Kindle to share with you this week.

Titanborn by Rhett C. Bruno. To Be Reviewed    The Draughtsman Damsel by Emily Klein. To Be Reviewed

To Be Read

You might recognize both of these authors from past reviews. John A. Heldt recently released the third installment in his American Journey series, Indiana Belle, and the second book in The Norse Chronicles, Arctic Dawn, by Karissa Laurel will be released on July 5th.

Indiana Belle (American Journey #3) by John A. Heldt. To be Read
Providence, Rhode Island, 2017. When doctoral student Cameron Coelho, 28, opens a package from Indiana, he finds more than private papers that will help him with his dissertation. He finds a photograph of a beautiful society editor murdered in 1925 and clues to a century-old mystery. Within days, he meets Geoffrey Bell, the "time-travel professor," and begins an unlikely journey through the Roaring Twenties.

Filled with history, romance, and intrigue, INDIANA BELLE follows a lonely soul on the adventure of a lifetime as he searches for love and answers in the age of Prohibition, flappers, and jazz.
If you enjoy historically accurate time travel novels and have not had a chance to read the American Journey series, you definitely are missing out on some fantastic books!

Arctic Dawn (The Norseman Chronicles 2) by Karissa Laurel. To be Read
Alone and exhausted after her month-long sojourn as a shooting star, Solina Mundy flees to southern California to lie low, recuperate, and plot a survival strategy. The one person she trusts to watch her back is her best friend, Skyla Ramirez. But Skyla has been missing for weeks.

The arrival of a dangerous stranger and the discovery of a legendary weapon of mass destruction forces Solina out of hiding and back into the fight for her life. Solina knows she won’t last long on her own. She must find out what happened to Skyla and unite her contentious allies if she hopes to track down this devastating weapon before her enemies use it to burn the world to ash.
I really enjoyed Midnight Burning! I thought that it was a great modern interpretation of Norse mythology, and I am really looking forward to reading Arctic Dawn.

Have you read any of the books, or series on the list this week? If so, let me know your thoughts on them in the comments.

Have a wonderful week!
