Marvelous Monday

Monday, February 13, 2017

There's not a whole lot going on in our household this week, except for the fact that Lexi has decided to stubbornly refuse to eat a small meal earlier in the day.

Since she cannot eat her daily allowance of food in one meal because it makes her sick, we have been picking up her food. While it ensures that she will eat in the evenings, she's only eating half of her daily allowance. This has been going on consistently for a few weeks now, so we are trying to figure something out so that she will get the amount of food she needs to sustain her obstinate self.

A Warrior Without A Past...

Alexios is the commander of the Faye Army, and a male, whose past is covered in darkness. Forbidden Love...

I'm almost halfway through it and I've enjoyed it thus far. It's a departure from the clean reads that I've been reviewing lately and I wouldn't recommend it for my young or new adult followers.

To be Read

Days Gone Bad by Eric R. Asher, To be Read, paranormal, urban
My name is Damian Valdis Vesik. I am a necromancer, an ability feared and hated as much as the powers my master and I set ourselves against. We've vanquished many evils, but now something is releasing an old darkness, forcing us to hunt an enemy beyond anything I’ve faced before. I was already busy enough with vampires, fairies, witches, Watchers, weddings, and … damn, I need a vacation.

Seconds Before Sunrise by Shannon A. Thompson, To be Read, paranormal, fantasy
Two nightmares. One memory.

“Chaos within destiny. It was the definition of our love.”

Eric has weeks before his final battle when he’s in an accident. Forced to face his human side, he knows he can’t survive if he fights alone. But he doesn’t want to surrender, even if he becomes the sacrifice for war.

Jessica’s memory isn’t the only thing she’s lost. Her desire to find her parents is gone and so is her confidence. But when fate leaves nightmares behind, she decides to find the boy she sees in them, even if it risks her sanity.
It looks like a paranormal, supernatural, fantasy kind of week for me. I don't mind because it's one of the genres that I was well-read in before I started book blogging.

What are you reading this week? Have you read the books that I have on my list for the week? Let me know in the comments.

Have a marvelous Monday and a delightful week!
