Marvelous Monday

#MarvelousMonday, On My Kindle Book Reviews, Lexi, currently reading, TBR

I had a great time at the Ozarks Indie Book Fest here in Springfield on Saturday. However, Lexi was quite butt-hurt that she wasn't able to join me and Mike.

I picked up a lot of swag...

Swag from OIBF 2017.

And a few books...

I also met up with Tricia Copeland, who I was thrilled to see this year after meeting her at Penned Con last year, and she presented me with a copy of her book, Drops of Sunshine; swapped furbaby stories with Bella Roccaforte, who was kind enough to give me a special edition copy of Moon Crossed; learned the story behind the anthology that Tia Bach participated in, and she gave me a copy of her book, chasing forgiveness; chatted with JoAnna S. Morris; got to meet Amy Hale, I am dying to read her upcoming book, Havenwood Falls High: Somewhere Within, and discovered that we are both huge fans of indie author Eric R. Asher (who I also met at Penned Con 2016), and finally got to meet Mary Ting, an author I've recently started following, who shared the inspiration behind her book, Crossroads.

Mike and I had an amazing time, and it was such a great way to return after taking a short break!

What I've Been Reading

I have a couple of books that I finished reading and are waiting to be shared with you:

Handbook for Mortals on Goodreads

I almost decided to not share Handbook For Mortals on the blog for a couple of reasons, which will become apparent when I publish my review this week. However, I decided to because I promised y'all that I'd share both critical and positive reviews on here.

Song of Sirens on Goodreads

It's always a treat to read Zara Steen's work, and Song of Sirens is no exception!

Stacey Rourke on Goodreads

I honestly didn't need to read this book until November, but I just couldn't wait! You'll see a review on November 17th when I participate in the release blitz for it.

Currently Reading

Damsels of Distress on Goodreads

One of "my" authors, Lily Luchesi, actually edited and compiled this anthology just in time for Halloween. I'm super-excited and honored that she asked me to review this book, and I love what I've read so far!

Up Next

Molten Dusk on Goodreads

Another book I've been absolutely dying to read by Karissa Laurel, an author I've worked with before!

Oh, one more thing... Make sure to check out my latest "update" post to learn more about the changes I'm making to my posting schedule and the review policy.

Have a marvelous Monday and a wonderful week!
