At thirty two, Greg has never met his father. His mother, who has passed away would only tell Greg two things: Greg got his strange turquoise eyes from his dad and also his ability to see viewings in his head.

When Greg finds the barn he has been seeing in his mind, his world is turned upside down. When he finds not only his father inside the barn, but many more mysteries, Greg also finds himself taking the adventure of a lifetime.
~ Summary from Goodreads ~

Greg inherited his visions, known as "viewings," from a man he never met; his father. One of the visions that he has repeatedly is of a barn. He knows that the barn is significant, but he does not know why.

The visions that Greg have are flashes of events that are happening in real-time. After having a vision of a missing girl, Greg became friends with the law enforcement officer that he confided in and helps his friend solve cases in his local area.

Greg's visions are not precognitive until he has a vision of his friend's death. When he is unable to save his friend, Greg decides to try to find the barn that has appeared in his visions for years.

I have reviewed Winn's work before, and I have enjoyed every book that I have read by her. Winn has a knack for creating richly detailed settings and well-formed, interesting characters in a short amount of time. I like that there are always messages in her books, and this one is no exception.

I love seeing how Winn manages to incorporate those messages into her stories. I am always surprised by these messages because one cannot predict them from merely looking at the titles of her books. Finally the unexpected and interesting twist that explains the reason why Greg's father was not in his life was fantastic.

Viewings by P.S. Winn is a great paranormal novel with some science fiction elements included. It is long enough to allow readers to indulge in some marathon reading, but short enough that it can be finished in a few hours.

I am an avid writer, reader and reviewer. I am constantly with a book whether mine or someone else's. Because I love to read, I find that I am always thinking of my readers when I write and thanking them for what they add to my books. Their imagination added to mine complete the story.

The really cool thing about P.S. Winn is that she frequently runs sales and other promotions for her books. Follow her on one (or all) of these social media sites to be notified of these promotions and to learn more about her:
