I am so incredibly disappointed with this book! I was confident that the author would realize that Emma, the protagonist, was underdeveloped. However, that wasn't the case as the author seemed to focus on continuing to evolve the secondary characters.

The sluggish protagonist development in and of itself isn't the only cause for my extreme disappointment with this final installment of the series. I was also fairly confident that the series was building to several shocking discoveries and plot twists, making the series worthwhile to read. I was wrong; the plot twists that took an entire three books to come to fruition were distressingly predictable. In fact, I had figured out these "shocking discoveries" about one-third of the way through the second book of this series. In most cases, even if I have predicted the outcome, I enjoy seeing how the plot unfolds. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case in this book because even how the events leading to the "shocking discoveries" were predictable.

Even if I dislike a book, I can still recommend it to a specific group of readers. In this case, I don't know who to recommend this book to; maybe some people who enjoyed "The Hunger Games" might enjoy this series?

I enjoy reading fiction and nonfiction novels, as well as autobiographies and biographies. I also enjoy reading comics and anything else book related.

I’ve wanted to write a novel for the last ten years but didn’t know if I could. I read many books on writing, and finally found the courage to write and self-publish. I spent four years working on my first novel and there are more books to come.
