Fancy & Adriaan by Haidji is a stand-alone short story about a fairy and an elf that are inseparable soul mates.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fancy is a fairy, born in a flower; Adriaan is an elf, born in the trees. Both seemed trapped in their respective birthplaces until Fancy grew wings and found Adriaan in his tree. Fancy not only helped to free Adriaan from the tree, but helped him to free his mind. Adriaan used his mind to help Fancy out of trouble when her heart steered her wrong.

When it was time for Fancy to grow and evolve, Adriaan helped her to leave; however, when he tried to follow her, they were separated. Adriaan, trapped in his own mind, forgot about Fancy, but Fancy never forgot about Adriaan. Will Fancy and Adriaan meet again, or will both of them continue on as incomplete and separate beings?

Fancy & Adriaan by Haidji is a short and sweet love story. The premise is simple and romantic; Fancy and Adriaan complete each other because they are soul mates.

Readers will be filled with wonder, hope, and delight as they follow Fancy and Adriaan's journey through a beautiful landscape filled with fairies and elves; a simple and elegant sanctuary in a cynical and hectic world.

Not only is Fancy & Adriaan a simple and timeless love story that is a welcome break from the frantic and heated romances that are prevalent in today's market, but it is also reminds me that while my husband and I are imperfect people in an imperfect world; we are perfect for each other.

If you find yourself yearning for a romantic and pure love story, you will adore Fancy & Adriaan by Haidji as much as I do.
